Another Beautiful Sunset

One thing we are really loving about Mesquite is our view of the snow. It is high in the mountains where we can see it, and it is far enough away that we don;t have to even think about shovelling it! This evening we had an incredible sunset as you can see---the sun is reflecting off the snow covered mountains. Spectacular!

Mountain View

We are loving our view of the mountains. Yesterday, there was a storm passing over them. If you look closely, you can see a rainbow. We do not think we have seen a repeat of images at sunset since we have been here.

Elvis' 75th Birthday

We had an awesome time at the Casablanca tonight. Elvis, aka Tom Stevens from Las Vegas, had people in the audience believing that the King was not dead! He did all the favorites. Here are a couple of pics we took with the phone. Sorry they are fuzzy---- as of now, Elvis has left the building.

Christmas Gifts

It was our first Christmas in our new house. Santa brought house gifts that we love. For the outside he brought a propane fire pit and for the inside he brought an entertainment system which matches the dining room.

Well, it looks like the native wildlife has taken to these warmer, sunny days.We were out at the front of the house and found this little guy out sunning himself!
