February Full Moon

The full moon rising over the Virgin Mountains earlier this evening was incredible. Here are some vies from our back yard.

Zion Fireworks

We went to Springdale, Utah, the gateway to Zion National Park, to watch the New Year's Eve fireworks. At showtime, 6PM, it was a very frigid 16 degrees!

Zion 3

Additional Zion photos which show the water damage. The first two pictures are taken in the exact same location as a previous post which included the cairns (e.g., the stone frog, stone people in the river). While the river raged it took the cairns along with it.

Christmas 2010 in Zion National Park

We went to the Zion Lodge for their Christmas Buffet. Here are pics of Neil's "reindeer" which took us to the park.

October Zion Trip

After the festival, we went to Zion for the afternoon. We thought we would see some foliage but the leaves have not started to change. We went for a hike on one of the trails and found the following cairns.
